2000 Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Award Recipient
The Honorable Paul F. Sheridan
The Honorable Paul F. Sheridan, chief judge of the Arlington Circuit Court, received the 2000 Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Award from the Virginia State Bar’s Criminal Law Section at the 30th annual Criminal Law Seminar.
The award, established in 1992 in honor of Carrico, chief justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, recognizes a singular and unique contribution to the improvement of the criminal justice system in Virginia.
Sheridan is a former faculty member for the Virginia State Bar’s Professionalism Course, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Education of Lawyers Section, and currently serves as a member of the VSB Bench-Bar Relations Committee.
