Upcoming VSB Construction Law and Public Contracts Section CLE Programs

Dear Construction Law and Public Contracts Section Member:

I hope this email finds you and your family healthy.

I am proud to announce that despite the challenges, the Construction Law and Public Contracts Section will still be offering our two CLE programs this fall.  While COVID-19 concerns are preventing these programs from occurring at their normal venues this year, the planning committees and faculty are working hard to offer you the same high-quality instructional content through a remotely delivered webcast and phone option.  Both of these programs offer discounted registration for Section members.

The first is our 5th Annual Federal Government Contracting Seminar.  This seminar will occur on Wednesday, September 16 (9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) and will provide 4.0 hours of live CLE, and will include the following topics:

  • Disputes in Government Contracts: Recent Developments and Strategies for Success
  • Top Ten Concerns for Small Business Attorneys
  • Issues Raised by the COVID-19 Pandemic on Federal Government Contracting

To register for the Federal Government Contracting Seminar, click here or go to www.vacle.org and enter “S194” in the Search box.

Second, our 41st Annual Construction Law and Public Contracts Seminar will be divided up this year over two days—November 6 and December 4.  There are registration options to attend either day or both days.  As usual, the complete seminar (both days combined) offers a full year’s worth (12.0 hours) of live CLE credit. The offerings once again will range from annual ethics and legal updates to specific programs on the most pressing industry and governmental issues.

To register for the 41st Annual Construction Law and Public Contracts Seminar click here or go to www.vacle.org and enter “S299” in the Search box.

We will miss seeing you all in person this year, but we hope you will still enjoy these great programs!

Very truly yours,

Scott W. Kowalski, Chair
Construction Law and Public Contracts Section
