Carrico Call for Entries

The Virginia State Bar is seeking entries for the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Award to be presented at the 49th Annual Criminal Law Seminar in February.

The Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Award was established in 1991 by the Section on Criminal Law of the Virginia State Bar to recognize an individual (judge, defense attorney, prosecutor, clerk, or other citizen) who has made a singular and unique contribution to the improvement of the criminal justice system in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Past recipients include such legal luminaries as Oliver W. Hill, the Honorable Dennis W. Dohnal, and Philip J. Hirschkop. The Criminal Law Seminar is presented in both Charlottesville (February 1) and Williamsburg (February 8). The Carrico Award will be presented in Williamsburg, and 7.0 hours of CLE are pending for both events.
