Voting Begins for 2020 Bar Council Elections
Voting for the Virginia State Bar Council elections in five circuits begins today, Monday, April 13. Learn about each of the candidates in contested elections by clicking on the circuit number below for a PDF with the bios and photos of each of the candidates.

Unopposed candidates who will remain on Council are:
- First Circuit: Damian “DJ” Hansen of Chesapeake
- Fourth Circuit: Neil S. Lowenstein of Norfolk
- Seventh Circuit: Benjamin M. Mason of Newport News
- Tenth Circuit: E.M. Wright Jr. of Buckingham – unopposed but new to council
- Eleventh Circuit: Shaun R. Huband of Petersburg – unopposed but new to council
- Fourteenth Circuit: Marissa D. Mitchell of Henrico County
- Fourteenth Circuit: Craig B. Davis of Henrico County
- Eighteenth Circuit: Stacey Rose Harris of Alexandria
- Twentieth Circuit: Susan F. Pierce of Warrenton
- Twenty-Fifth Circuit: William T. “Bill” Wilson of Covington
On or around April 13, 2020 active and in good standing lawyers whose address of record is in these five circuits (as of March 15) should have received an email from VSB2020@intelliscaninc.net with a link to their ballot. Please check your junk mail on that day if you do not receive a ballot.
Those without an email registered with the VSB will receive a paper ballot.
After receiving your ballot, you will have until midnight on May 1 to submit your vote.
