Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney (Chesterfield)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia. Spanish/English bilingual a plus. Five or more years of criminal trial experience with at least 2 of those in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court preferred. DUTIES: Responsibilities include the prosecution of criminal cases, including misdemeanor and felony charges, in the Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and Circuit Court for the County of Chesterfield, and the Commonwealth of Virginia; occasional prosecution in the General District Court, as needed.  All applications must be submitted through Chesterfield County’s website here.
