Real Estate Finance/Commercial Loan Workout & Restructuring Associate (Midlevel or Senior)

Venable LLP’s Real Estate Finance Group seeks a midlevel or senior associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join the practice in the Washington, D.C., Tysons, or Baltimore office.   The qualified candidate has experience representing servicers and lenders in connection with the workout and enforcement of distressed commercial real estate loans. Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan documents, modifications, forbearance agreements, and similar documents; reviewing, analyzing, and managing legal due diligence (including organizational documents and structure; title, survey, and lease review; and legal opinions); and managing and closing complex commercial real estate loan workout transactions is essential.
