By Order entered February 20, 2024, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board revoked Mark Alan Black’s license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia based on his affidavit that consented to the revocation. By tendering his consent to revocation at a time when a disciplinary complaint, investigation, or proceeding was pending, Black acknowledged that the material facts upon which the disciplinary complaint, investigation, or proceeding are predicated are true, and if the disciplinary proceedings based on the alleged conduct were brought or prosecuted to a conclusion, he could not successfully defend them.
