Effective April 4, 2023, pursuant to Virginia Rule of Professional Conduct 8.5(b) the Virginia State Bar Third District Subcommittee issued a public admonition without terms to Brian John Hooper for violating the District of Columbia’s professional rules that govern competence, diligence and zeal, and communication, and the Virginia professional rule governing reporting misconduct. This was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges.
