Supreme Court of Virginia Approves LEO 1900; Amends Two Rules
On January 4, 2024, the Supreme Court of Virginia approved Legal Ethics Opinion 1900 concerning a lawyer’s duty to disclose the death of client, effective immediately.
The Court also amended Rule 8.4, Part Six, Section II concerning Misconduct, effective March 4, 2024.
Additionally, the Court amended Part One A, Rule 1A:8 of its Rules concerning Military Spouse Provisional Admission to the Virginia State Bar, effective March 4, 2024.
