VSB to Evaluate Candidates for Virginia Court of Appeals Vacancy
The Virginia State Bar has been asked by Senator R. Creigh Deeds, co-chair of the Judiciary Committee of the Senate of Virginia, to evaluate candidates for a vacancy on the Court of Appeals of Virginia due to the pending retirement of the Honorable Robert J. Humphreys.
If you would like to be evaluated by the VSB, you must submit a résumé, a brief writing sample, and responses to a questionnaire on or before 4:00 p.m. on October 20, 2023. Submissions should be sent by email as a Word document. The writing sample may be submitted in either pdf or word format. Please submit your application materials by email to [email protected]. Interviews will be conducted by the individual committee members.
