EVENT: Early morning classes each day will be tailored for the beginner to intermediate level practitioner, depending on the experience of those registered for the classes.
WHO MAY PARTICIPATE: The event is open to all lawyers and judges registered for the Annual Meeting, and their immediate families and guests.
FEE: The fee is $15, per person.
HOW TO ENTER: Please complete the Annual Meeting registration form (PDF) and return it with your fee to the Virginia State Bar no later than June 1. You also will need to complete a waiver form which will be provided onsite.
3rd Annual Fore Diversity Golf Tournament – to support the VSB Diversity Conference

This will be the best golf extravaganza you have ever played with great door prizes, contests, raffles and plenty of refreshments!
EVENT: The format will be captain’s choice played at Virginia Beach National Golf Club, a Pete Dye design, located at 2500 Tournament Drive, in Virginia Beach; (757) 563 9440.
TEE TIMES: Begin at 11:45 a.m.
WHO MAY ENTER: The event is open to all ... lawyers, non-lawyers, judges, law students, exhibitors for the 26th Annual Lawyers Expo – and their families, friends and guests.
ENTRY FEE: $125/person or $400/foursome. Law Students: $65.

32nd Annual Run in the Sun
Friday, June 14, 7:30 a.m. • Virginia Beach Boardwalk
Sponsors: Young Lawyers Conference and Virginia Lawyers Weekly
EVENT: The race will be a 3.1 mile (5 kilometer) run. The start/finish line is at the beginning of the Boardwalk, at 38th Street and Atlantic Avenue. The course will continue South until the halfway point at 16th Street and return.
WHO MAY ENTER: The event is open to all lawyers and judges registered for the Annual Meeting, and their immediate families and guests.
ENTRY FEE: The fee is $15, per person. Please submit the entry form included in the registration materials.
SHIRTS & PRIZES: Annual Meeting registrants who submit entries no later than May 8 will receive a T-shirt. Later entries may receive shirts, if available. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. The awards will be presented immediately following the race at the start/finish line.

How to Obtain Your Number & Shirt: You may pick up your number, T-shirt and race information at the Virginia State Bar registration desk in the Lobby of the Cavalier Oceanfront Hotel on Thursday afternoon, June 13. The shirts and numbers will also be available at the start/finish line on Friday morning.
11th Annual Tennis Tournament
Saturday, June 15, 1:00 p.m. • Original Cavalier

EVENT: A Mixed Doubles Round Robin tournament will be played on the lawn of the Original Cavalier Hotel. Players will be rotated as evenly as possible, although there may be an uneven number of men and women. In the final ranking, men and women will compete separately for spots in the final mixed doubles match. In the final match, the #1 man and the #2 woman will compete against the #1 woman and the #2 man in a regular set.
WHO MAY ENTER: The event is open to all lawyers and judges registered for the Annual Meeting, and their immediate families and guests.
ENTRY FEE: The fee is $15, per person.
PRIZES: Trophies will be awarded to the champions. Tennis balls will be provided.

29th Annual David T. Stitt Memorial Volleyball Tournament
Saturday, June 15, 1:00 p.m. • Beachfront, Cavalier Oceanfront Hotel

EVENT: The tournament will played beachfront at the Cavalier Oceanfront Hotel, using impartial referees.
WHO MAY ENTER: The event is open to all lawyers and judges registered for the Annual Meeting, and their immediate families and guests.
ENTRY FEE: The fee is $15, per person.
SHIRTS & PRIZES: Annual Meeting registrants who submit entries no later than May 8 will receive a T-shirt. Later entries may receive shirts, if available. Trophies will be awarded to members of the top placed teams. The David T. Stitt Memorial Volleyball Trophy will be awarded to the winning team.
TEAMS: A team consists at least 4 or more players with a maximum of 6 players per team allowed on the beach at one time.
HOW TO ENTER: Competitors may enter individually or as part of a team. If entering as a team, please submit one team entry form. If entering individually, we will attempt to place you on a team. Please complete the entry form (PDF) included with the Annual Meeting registration materials and return it with your fee to the Virginia State Bar no later than June 1.
