VSB Local Government Fellowship
Created in 2012, the Virginia State Bar (VSB) Local Government Fellowship seeks to attract promising future attorneys to the practice of local government law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. To this end, the Board of Governors of the VSB Local Government Section will annually award a fellowship to an outstanding first or second-year law student who has committed to working full-time at a Virginia local government attorney’s office during the summer. The most recent Fact Sheet and Application (for informational purposes until the 2014 application process is begun) is posted below. A retrospective of the experience by the 2013 Fellowship Recipient, Mike Kaestner, was published in the fall lissue of the Journal of Local Government Law, also posted below.
