On June 18, 2009, Council approved the proposed amendment, approved by COLD on January 7, 2009, which strikes language which has not been in use in the disciplinary system for many years. Mutual agreement of the complainant and respondent to the resolution of a bar complaint is not sought at any stage of the disciplinary process.
