About the Cover
The photograph of a snowy egret was taken by Richmond photographer David R. Holton of Richmond and first appeared on the cover of Virginia Lawyer in October 2005. It was taken at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. We republish it in memory of Mr. Holton who died in Richmond on November 26, 2011.
