About the Cover

The BRAC 133 project — an office park that will be home to 6,409 U.S. Department of Defense employees — is under construction along U.S. 395, on Mark Center Drive in Alexandria. The project includes two multistory office towers and two parking garages. BRAC 133 is a U.S. Army initiative that grew out of a 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission recommendation to move DOD personnel from space leased elsewhere in Northern Virginia.
