Law in Society Competition Entry
The entry form is PDF document you may fill out online and save. Email the entry form and essay to lawinsociety@vsb.org.
Be sure to attach your essay to the e-mail as a Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx) or a PDF.
Please read the directions below carefully. Incomplete entry forms could result in a delay entering your essays by the deadline.
2012 DEADLINES:
The entry deadline is Wednesday, FEBRUARY 15, 2012, 4:00 p.m.
Electronic submissions are preferred. Please do not duplicate your entries by e-mailing and sending hard copies.
2012 Entry Information
Please submit your essay electronically to lawinsociety@vsb.org. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please do not duplicate your entries by e-mailing and sending hard copies.
1. Open the Entry Form (PDF) and complete. Click SAVE FORM at the bottom of the form.
DO NOT use the "Attach to E-mail" option under the "File" menu in Acrobat. This will send a blank entry form. Save the form to your computer, and attach the file to your e-mail.
2. Attach the entry form and essay to your e-mail. Essays in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF documents are preferred.
3. VERY IMPORTANT: Your name and school name should appear only on your entry form and e-mail. Do not include name on page headers or footers. The title should be the heading for the document.
Don’t forget! The essay and entry form must be received at the offices of the Virginia State Bar by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, to be eligible for judging.
4. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please do not duplicate your entries by e-mailing and sending hard copies. If you are unable to e-mail your entry, please submit via mail or fax by the deadline date of Wednesday, February 15, 2011.
