Pro Bono Training and Events Calendar

Virginia Legal Aid and Oliver White Hill Law Student Pro Bono Awards LuncheonFriday, June 19, 11:45 a.m., Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel, 3501 Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach.  This event is an important part of the Virginia State Bar’s Annual Meeting and is co-sponsored by the VSB Access to Legal Services Committee and ALPS. Jeremy P. White of the Virginia Legal Aid Society is the Virginia Legal Aid Award recipient and Katherine Moss, Washington and Lee University School of Law 3L, is receiving the Oliver White Hill Award for Law Student Pro Bono.  Hon. S. Bernard Goodwyn, Justice, Supreme Court of Virginia and Co-Chair of the Virginia Access to Justice Commission, is giving the keynote address. Tickets for the luncheon are just $20 per person. (NOTE – You do not have to be registered for the Annual Meeting to attend the Awards Luncheon).
