Professional Development Conference – Presenting "Practical Tips for an Evolving Legal Job Market” on September 23 in Richmond, sponsored by the Young Lawyers Conference. Registration open to all Virginia lawyers. 6.0 CLE credits (2.0 ethics) pending.


Comments sought on MCLE proposals– The Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board is seeking comments by October 1 on proposed amendments to Opinion 16, Courses Provided by Distance Learning Methods, and Opinion 17, Law Office Practice Management Programs.


Reminder: MCLE 4-hour live programming requirement goes into effect for the 2012 compliance year– There is no change in the course requirements for the current year that ends October 31, 2011.


Diversity ConferencePanels at the University of Virginia School of Law and the Appalachian School of Law, fundraiser announced.
