Virginia Law Foundation Seeks Fellows Nominations
The Virginia Law Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2013 class of Fellows. Nominations will be accepted through July 2, 2012.
The VLF, established in 1974, is the non-profit vehicle for Virginia lawyers to improve the administration of justice and promote the rule of law.
To encourage and recognize excellence in the practice of law and public service, the VLF created the Fellows of the Virginia Law Foundation. The 2013 class will be inducted at a dinner meeting in Williamsburg on January 24, 2013, during the Virginia Bar Association’s annual meeting. The current Fellows membership is 412.
A candidate must be an active or associate member of the Virginia State Bar for at least ten years, a resident of Virginia, a person of integrity and character, have maintained and upheld the highest standards of the profession, be outstanding in the community, and be distinguished in the practice of law. Sitting full-time judges and constitutional office holders are not eligible during their tenure, but retired and senior status judges are eligible.
