COURT APPROVES GOULD AS HEAD OF VSB  — Richmond attorney Karen A. Gould has been named the new executive director and chief operating officer of the Virginia State Bar.
 
SUPREME COURT SEEKS COMMENTS ON AMENDMENTS TO RULE 8.4 — The deadline to submit comments on proposed amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct regarding the undisclosed recording of communications is December 8.
 
MCLE REPORTING DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 15 — All attorneys must certify the required twelve continuing legal education hours, including two hours in ethics/professionalism, or incur a $100 late filing fee.
 
WINNERS OF CIRCUIT PRO BONO AWARDS ANNOUNCED — Four Virginia attorneys have been recognized for extraordinary contributions to the justice system through pro bono work.
 
THIRD-YEAR-STUDENT PRACTICE RULE CHANGE APPROVED — The Supreme Court of Virginia has approved a change to Part Six, Section IV, Paragraph 15 of the Rules of Court regarding the third-year-student practice rule. Updated: Dec 03, 2007
