2012 Midyear Legal Seminar in Rome, Italy, Is A Go

Italophiles, register for 2012 Midyear Legal Seminar in Rome, Italy. The official seminar will be November 7–14, 2012, and there now is an optional pre-seminar tour to Sorrento available November 3–8.

The 39th annual Midyear Legal Seminar will be in Rome, Italy. Attendees at the November 7–14, 2012, seminar will stay at the St. Regis Rome Hotel. The hotel is in the historic center of Rome, within walking distance of exclusive shopping, restaurants, open-air cafes, museums, and many of the breathtaking ancient wonders of the city. The stage is set for seminar presenters to provide an exceptional continued legal education experience for Virginia lawyers and the travel staff is poised to continue the education through a stimulating program of optional tours of Rome and beyond.

Members who attended the seminar in the last ten years will receive additional detailed registration information. Those who have not participated in the Midyear Legal Seminar and would like to be added to the mailing list should send their contact information to the VSB Bar Services Department at barservices@vsb.org. There will be no general mailing to the entire membership for this seminar.

The cost per attorney is $5,200, which includes the hotel room and CLE fees. The cost per spouse or guest sharing a room with the attorney is $1,750.

Fees include round-trip air transportation from Dulles, private round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel in Rome, luggage handling at the hotel, hotel accommodations for six nights, breakfast buffet daily at the hotel, two receptions with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, a Rome orientation tour, all taxes and gratuities to hotel bellmen, hotel maids and a levied on other included features, and VSB administrative fees.
