Court Seeks Comment on Proposed Rule Changes
The Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Rules of Court seeks public comment on two proposals:
- Amendments to Rules 1:8, Amendments, and 3:16, New Parties, to conform the rules and clarify the filing of an amended pleading once the court has granted leave to do so.
- Amendments to Rule 3:2, Commencement of Civil Actions, to address dismissal of actions filed by counsel not currently licensed to practice law in Virginia.
The deadline for comment is August 20, 2010.
