Annual Meeting Hosts First Debate between Attorney General of Virginia Candidates

The historic 79th Annual Meeting in Virginia Beach will feature the first debate between the nominees for Virginia attorney general on Saturday, June 17th.

Republican candidate John D. Adams, who chaired the Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation Department at McGuire Woods prior to taking a temporary leave of absence to focus on his campaign, will face off against the Democratic candidate, current Attorney General Mark R. Herring.

The debate will be moderated by Barbara Hamm Lee, the host of Another View, a weekly talk radio show on WHRV-FM.

In addition to this lively debate, the Annual Meeting will include the induction of Doris H. Causey of Central Virginia Legal Aid as our first African American VSB president, as well as eleven topical and interesting CLEs on issues ranging from disparaging trademarks to security clearances to autism.

Early registration for the meeting ends May 12.
