2013 Fall Institute and Second Board of Governors Meeting
VALS Legal Education Council will host the Fall Institute of Seminars on September 21 and N-PALSA is hosting the Fall Board of Governors Meeting on Sunday, September 22. These meetings will take place at the Double Tree Hotel-Koger Center (formerly the Holiday Inn) at 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235. The price for a single/double/triple room is $92. Hotel reservations can be made directly with the Double Tree at 1-800-222-8733 or 804-379-3800 and use the group name VALS. The deadline for reservations is August 30, 2013.
The 2013 Fall Institute will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21st with the following seminars:
The Richmond Justice Initiative will talk to us about “Human Trafficking”; and
The Parsons’ Cause – a dramatazaion of Patrick Henry’s involvement in the trial
called the Parsons’ Cause which was a precursor to the Revolutionary War
and Patrick Henry becoming the “Voice of the Revolution.”

The registration fee is $85 for members and $100 for non-members, which includes lunch. The deadline for registration is August 30, 2013. Registration checks can be made payable to VALS Legal Education Council and mailed to Deborah M. Yencha, PP, PLS at 524 Laurel Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA 22408-1517. There will be a $5 late fee after August 30, 2013.
The 2nd Board of Governors Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 22, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee for Sunday is $24.00, which includes breakfast. If you plan on attending the Board of Governors Meeting you must pay the $3 registration fee, which is payable to
