The Virginia Beach Legal Staff Association will host VALS Winter Seminar and Third Board of Governors Meeting on January 28, 2012, at the Springhill Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront, 901 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 22451. Hotel reservations can be made directly with the Springhill Suites at (757) 383-6065. The deadline for reservations is January 3, 2012.
The 2012 Winter Seminar Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the seminars to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012, with the following speakers:
“The Widow on the Hill: A real life story more compelling that fiction” by Randy D. Singer, Esq.; and “A View from the Beach” by The Honorable H. Thomas Patrick, Jr., 2nd Circuit Court, Virginia Beach
The registration is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. The deadline for registration is January 3, 2012. Registrations and checks should be made out to VALS Legal Education Council and sent to Sandra S. Varney, PLS, Kaufman & Canoles, P.C., 150 West Main Street, Suite 2100, Norfolk, Virginia 23510.
The 3rd Board of Governors Meeting will be held Saturday afternoon beginning at 3 p.m., following lunch (cost is included in the scrip ticket), and a Leadership Workshop at 2:15 p.m. The full scrip ticket for the Third Board of Governors Meeting is $25 for VALS members and $30 for non-VALS members If you plan on attending the Board of Governors Meeting only you must pay the $3 registration fee, which is payable to VBLSA.
