First Day in Practice Seminar
Jointly sponsored with the Virginia State Bar General Practice Section, the First Day in Practice Seminar is a CLE program designed specifically for new lawyers. Offering practice tips on various types of law as well as law-office management and even courtroom expectations, the course is a wealth of information for lawyers just beginning their careers. The seminar is traditionally held the day after the Fall Admissions and Orientation Ceremony. The next First Day in Practice will be March 1, 2013, replacing the one canceled due to inclement weather on October 30, 2012.
