YLC Receives Four ABA Awards of Achievement at the ABA 2009 Annual Meeting
The Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar received four ABA Awards of Achievement at the ABA's 2009 Annual Meeting in August. The four awards were:
1. Special recognition in the "Comprehensive" category encompassing all the Conference’s projects.
2. Special recognition in the "Service to the Public" category for the Minority Pre-Law Conference.
3. Special recognition in the "Service to the Bar" category for the Professional Development Conference – Learning from the Masters.
4. First Place in the “Newsletter” category for the Docket Call.
