2014 Senior Lawyers Conference Trees for Virginia

One of the premier projects of the Senior Lawyers Conference is to continue John Tate's plan to plant more trees in Virginia.  In the last two years, the conference has planted more than 7,500 trees, and an Honor Tree in Capitol Square for the late Chief Justice Leroy R. Hassell Sr.

The conference is continuing this project in 2014. People or organizations that want trees should  contact Bruce Robinson at (434) 917-0061,berobinson49@gmail.com. Orders should be placed by February 15 and the trees will be delivered to be planted in late February or early March, which is the best time to plant them.

This project involves no state or Virginia State Bar funds and is dependent on voluntary contributions.  To help, please send contributions to John Oakey, Treasurer, Trees for Virginia, c/o McGuireWoods LLP, 901 East Cary Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
