Local and statewide bar leaders and conference representatives are invited to the annual meeting and breakfast which will feature the presentation of special awards and the election of the executive committee for the coming bar year. Awards of Merit, Local Bar Leader of the Year Award & Bar Association of the Year Award

In conjunction with the CLBA’s annual meeting, the 31st Annual Awards of Merit will be presented to recognize outstanding programs and projects by local and statewide bars. The competition is designed to share successful program ideas and resources; to encourage greater service to the bench, bar and the public; and to inform the public about some of these excellent programs and projects.

The 21st Annual Local Bar Leader of the Year Award will recognize an active leader in a local bar association who has offered important service to the bench, bar and public. A letter of nomination should be submitted.

The 3rd Annual Bar Association of the Year Award will recognize a bar association, given its relative size, which has most fulfilled the attributes that our member associations strive to attain. Factors which will be considered include: member support, community outreach, charitable works, pro bono work, and other activities.
