You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Meeting and Bar Leaders Breakfast of the Conference of Local Bar Associations (CLBA) on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 7:30 a.m. in the Capes Ballroom, Sheraton Oceanfront in Virginia Beach.  During this meeting:

VSB President-elect Doris E.H. Causey will share her goals for next year;
The Local Bar Leader of the Year, Specialty Bar Leader of the Year, Bar Association of the Year, and Awards of Merit winners will be recognized; and the 2017-2018 CLBA Executive Committee will be elected.

We hope you will be able to join us on June 16th for the Bar Leaders Breakfast.  The breakfast will be completed before the start of CLE programs offered on Friday morning.  If you plan to attend, please send your name, title and bar affiliation to clba@vsb.org by Monday, June 12, 2017.

Solo & Small-Firm Practitioner Forum-Kilmarnock

The CLBA will present a Solo & Small-Firm Practitioner Forum on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club in Kilmarnock, Virginia.

Agenda and registration information will be posted in July.

Please note that Solo programs presented during a fiscal year (July-June) will have some crossover in topic sessions. You may only claim MCLE credit for attending a specific topic once every two years, unless they are substantially different.

The CLBA will present a Solo & Small-Firm Practitioner Forum on Friday, October 13, 2017, at the Mountain Empire Community College in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Please note that Solo programs presented during a fiscal year (July-June) will have some crossover in topic sessions. You may only claim MCLE credit for attending a specific topic once every two years, unless they are substantially different.
