Southwest Virginia Legal Aid Society Hosts Free Law Day Events in May

The Southwest Virginia Legal Aid Society (SVLAS) will host five Law Day events across Southwest Virginia in early May in an effort to provide free legal advice from experts to the public on topics such as family law, real estate, estate planning, and more. The events will feature food trucks offering free meals for veterans, community vendors providing resources for the public, and free legal advice from licensed attorneys.

Law Day is an annual celebration of the rule of law sponsored by the American Bar Association. This year’s theme is “Voices of Democracy,” which recognizes that the people rule in democracies.
