This program will pick up where Part I in November left off by highlighting new insights, perspectives, and challenges discovered with the Corporate Transparency Act since the new law took effect on January 1. Among other practical guidance, the presenters will walk through examples to illustrate how the law’s exemptions are not always intuitive and discuss situations that have arisen where it was difficult to determine who counts as a beneficial owner. In addition, the presenters will discuss different approaches that some law firms and other service providers have been taking in guiding and advising their clients on compliance with the new law.
